Totally Dublin have written a piece on Ashgrove Housing off Meath Street and The Coombe. The public housing scheme which was designed by Delaney, McVeigh and Pike, was procured through an architectural ideas competition and completed in 1978. Today it is almost retro in its design, with sharp farms of dark chocolatey brick.
This description of a Liberties landmark has been published as part of Totally Dublin’s Nice Gaff pieces.
