Happening in the Liberties

Whatever your interest there are always things to see and do in The Liberties. Whether its music and culture, citywide festivals or our very own summer Liberties Festival, or business and networking, this page will keep you up to date on events in Dublin 8.

You can enjoy the best evening entertainment at top venues: Vicar Street is a stop off point for bands and acts touring the world and you will always catch a great show at The Tivoli Theatre on Francis Street. There’s also a fantastic array of smaller pubs and venues, most with live music and other modest events on most evenings – check out Arthurs for music, spoken word and regular Irish evenings, or the popular Thomas House for more offbeat and alternative music.

Doing business here? Both The Digital Hub and The GEC hold a range of conferences, business seminars and events to allow entrepreneurs, investors and inventors mingle to discuss the latest great thing to come out of Dublin.  Venues like The Guinness Storehouse also facilitate private events and conferences on an ongoing basis. The recently opened Teeling Distillery is another great facility for private events and conferences.

Meanwhile in the arts sector, galleries such as NCAD GalleryCross Gallery, Pallas Studios and others runs regular exhibitions, while the college itself has a varied programme of public conferences and expos throughout the year. Francis Street, Ireland’s Art & Antiques Quarter also hosts regular exhibitions and other artistic and cultural events.

If you’d like to post an event to the page then please get in touch!
