‘Playing with Space’ is a series of FREE outdoor lunchtime talks taking place at the Wood Quay amphitheatre, Dublin 8 as part of the OFFSITE Fringe Festival on March 20/21/22, 1pm-2pm. A Playful City, OFFSET and Dublin City Council have teamed up to bring together unexpected and cross-cutting perspectives into a conversation about what makes a city play. To look at Dublin city as a creative, cultural, playful and living space as well as one engaged with evolving. The interactive talks will be zeroing in on the laneways of Dublin, examining and exploring challenges and possibilities for designing these spaces as intergenerational, accessible, and playful. Key actors and influencers from across sectors – including Yvonne Farrell (Grafton Architects & hosts to the 2018 Venice Biennale), Peter O Gara (Me & Him & You Graphic Designers), Kate Moylan (Production & Costume Designer), Ali Grehan (DCC City Architect) and many more will come together to share their unique perspectives with MC’s Una Mullally and Manchan Magan, while attendees will have the opportunity to contribute too.
