Teeling Distillery and Visitor Centre welcomed the 185,000th visitor to the Newmarket attraction last week as the distillery celebrated its second birthday.

The distillery, run by brothers Jack and Stephen Teeling, opened its doors in June 2015 and was the first working distillery to establish in the capital in over 100 years, marking the return of one of the city’s best-known industries and affirming the phenomenal revival in fortune of Irish whiskey. Teeling Distillery is now firmly on the city’s tourist maps and its rapidly become one of the must-see attractions in the city. However it doesn’t stop there. The centre is at the heart of the rapid change taking place in Newmarket and Blackpitts. Building on the success of established markets such as Dublin Food Co-op and the Green Door Market, Teeling Distillery is helping to establish the area as a craft food and drink hub.

To celebrate their milestone, the Teeling team has put together a fabulous video of highlights of the past 24 months.
