Programme of Culture Date with Dublin 8 events to take place throughout 2018 - Culture Date with Dublin 8, the weekend-long celebration of the cultural and historical life of Dublin 8, returns to Kilmainham and Inchicore this year. The festival takes place on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th May, and will feature a host of free, family-friendly events. This year, the programme has been expanded with the announcement of two flagship events, and a series of pop-up events taking place throughout 2018.

Culture Date with Dublin 8 May Weekender 2023 will be taking place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th May.  A superb line up of participating organisations from all across D8 are participating this year including: The Phoenix Park, The Irish National War Memorial Gardens, Kilmainham Gaol, Richmond Barracks, Goldenbridge Cemetery, IMMA – Irish Museum of Modern Art, Edward Worth Library, Marsh’s Library, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Christchurch Cathedral, Dublinia, Common Ground, The Guinness Storehouse, Pearse Lyons Distillery, Roe & Co, Rascals Brewery, The Circular, We Love Markets at The Digital Hub and more to be announced!

The festival will be bringing a jam packed programme of free events celebrating the cultural, historical and architectural heritage of Dublin 8. Full programme details will be announced in the upcoming weeks – for now – put those dates in your diary and we look forward to celebrating our neighbourhood with you this May!
