The Liberties Training Centre was established under the South Inner City Community Development Association in 1986 and is supported by City of Dublin Education Training Board CDETB. The centre has provided good quality training and support to generations of people from the Liberties and surrounding areas and many have developed excellent careers in their chosen fields.
The centre has kept pace with worldwide innovation and change and will continue to adapt to changes in the social and physical environment of the Liberties. The Liberties Training Centre will always promote the benefits and joy of learning, especially for those who choose more unconventional routes to get there. As Einstein famously said; ..”But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.
