Back of the Pipes Residents Association, in association with Dublin City Council, is hosting a welcome return of Bloomsday in the Barn, an annual tribute to all things Joycean to mark the anniversary of Leopold Bloom’s fictional walk across Dublin in 1904.

The free event will feature readings, music and songs by James Joyce and other Irish writers, all performed by professional actors and musicians.  Always a treat, the event takes place from 2pm to 4pm in the centre of Dolphin’s Barn alongside the Church on SCR.  Food and light refreshments will be available. And in the spirit of Bloomsday, there will be special prizes for the best dressed man  and woman in period costume.

All welcome!
