Consultation Launched on Masterplan for St James’s Linear Park

A detailed redesign of the parkland along the Luas allignment in Rialto has now been published

Life, Love The Liberties

Dublin City Council Parks & Landscaping Services has begun a consultation on a masterplan for the St James’s linear park between Basin Lane and Suir Bridge. The masterplan presents a new vision for the park, one that seeks to create a safe, usable and inviting amenity in The Liberties and on towards the Grand Canal; a park that through high-quality place-making will become integral to the local community and a destination in its own right.

The masterplan has been developed by Ait Urbanism & Landscape Architects and follows on from a series of community engagements and workshops in later 2018 and 2019. The proposed design has been informed by site analysis, research and dialogue with the local community.

The consulation includes drawings of the masterplan, a research report detailing the process to date and images of the proposal. Please click here.
