Business, Life, Love The Liberties, Visit

Undeniably, Dublin city centre has been badly hit by the Covid-19 crisis – with footfall down 50% and many usually bustling streets and spaces eerily quiet.  With so many businesses… shops, restaurants, beauty salons and visitor attractions needing a boost, Dublin.ie – the Dublin Place Brand team have created the ‘Make A Day of It’ campaign encouraging people back into the city – Safely!

The message is that Dublin city centre remains a terrific place to spend the day or weekend and that businesses and attractions across the city are working hard to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for you.

Here in The Liberties, you’ll still find some of the city’s top historic attractions and visitor sights, great places to eat, have coffee or relax with a pint and meal, quirky and unique shops across clothes and fashion, homewears, antiques, music and books, markets and much more, and a host of great services to look after your every need.

As part of ‘Make A Day of It’, check out some of the great itineraries on how to spend a day in different areas across Dublin. Whether its soaking up the history of Dublin’s Historic Heart, including Christ Church Cathedral and Dublinia. Or a wander through the vibrant streets of The Liberties, browsing the Liberty Market on Meath Street or Dublin’s Art & Antiques Quarter on Francis Street. It wouldn’t be an amazing day out in Dublin without a day out in #TheLiberties! #MakeADayofIt
