Christmas and the final weeks of 2022 are almost upon us. The lights are being switched on and the decorations are going up.

This year, Dublin City Council’s Winter Lights Festival includes two locations in The Liberties – the iconic St Patrick’s Tower at The Digital Hub, and the area’s newest arrival, the new park at Bridgefoot Street. The locations join 14 other installations across the city centre to get out and explore after dark until 1st January.  More at www.dublinwinterlights.ie.

The traditional Cornmarket Christmas Tree will be lit on Tuesday, 29th November at 6pm. All are welcome for a festive evening with carols, a countdown and refreshments served afterwards at St Audoen’s NS on Cook Street.

The Teeling’s ‘Spirit of Dublin’ Christmas Tree will be unveiled at Newmarket on Sunday, 4th December at 5.30pm. Teeling Distillery extend their invite to seasonal nibbles, those famous cocktails, carol singers and festive cheer galore with friends, family and colleagues. Always a treat!

And finally the Christmas Tree at Dolphin’s Barn will be unveiled on Tuesday, 6th December at 6pm.
