LOVE.D8: All That’s Great About Dublin 8!

St Patrick’s Cathedral together with Dublin City Council South Central Area Office is planning a celebration of all that is great about Dublin 8, with a unique community fair to be held inside the cathedral on Tuesday 26th February between 6.30pm and 9pm. As February is the Month of Loooove …you’re invited to make a D8 with this showcase of social, cultural and economic life in the area.

What’s planned:

• For one evening the magnificent St Patrick’s Cathedral will be transformed into a thriving community meeting place with exhibitors showcasing their activities across a series of zones: HealthyD8, LearningD8, Clean&GreenD8, WorkingD8, CulturalD8 and CommunityD8
• The public can explore all that The Liberties has to offer, get information on clubs and activities, learn about local schools and workplaces, discover how to get active and involved and much, much more.
• There will be local interest talks in the beautiful Lady Chapel and popup music performances during the event.
• Free entry
• Refreshments available

Businesses and Organisations – Get Involved!

Businesses and organisations in the area are now invited to take part in LoveD8. Its a great opportunity for you to showcase your activities or the services that your organisation provides in the area and help to tell the very positive story of Dublin 8.

Showcasing at the event includes: a small pod table or part of a trestle table within one of 6 zones in the main cathedral nave. Room for a pull-up banner or small display. Access to power supply for laptop schemes or small VDUs. Refreshments.

While participation in the event is free, we are seeking sponsors who would help to cover the costs and enhance the quality of the event. If you would like to consider becoming a sponsor please tick the relevant box on the sponsorship form and complete and return the necessary details. Sponsors will be recognised in all event literature.

We’re also planning a raffle on the night. So if you would like to contribute a D8 prize, all donations gratefully received?
