The Jonathan Swift Festival returns from 21st to 27th November 2024.

Enjoy a host of Swift-theme events and activities to celebrate the life and works of the renowned satirist and author of “Gulliver’s Travels.” The festival includes lectures, performances, and guided walks that explore his influence on literature and satire. Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of Georgian Dublin with a Swift Audio Tour. Enjoy music, satire, debate and drama in the hallowed halls of Swift’s own Saint Patrick’s Cathedral and Archbishop Marsh’s Library. Explore the Cathedral by night with specially curated tours.

Jonathan Swift: Savage Indignation November 22nd : a new short musical written by Gerry Mullins based on letters and poetry by Jonathan Swift and his lady friends Stella and Vanessa. Interviews with experts on Swift.

Family Workshop – Gulliver’s Travels Bookmaking on November 23rd

Jonathan and the Jest November 23rd: Join writer Alice Coghlan and actor Damien Devaney as Jonathan Swift on a captivating tour through St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Marsh’s Library.
