As part of NCAD Works, the college extends an invitation to A celebration of NCAD’s Dublin 8 Creative Collaborations in the Harry Clarke House at NCAD on Wednesday 14 June from 6-7pm.
Sarah Glennie, Director of NCAD: “NCAD has a long and vital history in Dublin 8 and increasingly the creative collaborations that happen within the area are a defining part of its student’s education. As we start the important work of preparing our campus here on Thomas Street for a vibrant future in Dublin 8 we are extremely committed to furthering the contribution we can make to this very dynamic and distinctive community.”
This informal event will include presentations from NCAD students James Doyle, Emma Brennan and Sophia Ricotta with Dannielle McKenna, Project Manager of Rialto Youth Project and Claire Byrne Manager of The Liberties Weavers, and will give a flavour of some of the community partnerships the college is involved with.
The event is followed an opportunity to view the graduate exhibition NCAD Works which opens on 9th June and runs through to 16th June. As ever there will be some extraordinary work to see!
If you would like to attend the event on 14th June, please RSVP to Amy O’Hanlon at ohanlona@staff.ncad.ie by Monday 12 June.
