Dublin City Council and local community groups have combined to organise a range of fun family-friendly events around The Liberties, Rialto and Dolphin’s Barn to ensure that everyone has a fun but safe Halloween. The Council will also be very active over the coming weeks to reduce incidents of bonfires and antisocial behaviour in the area. While fires seem like a great idea to some, they cause huge damage to property in the area, are dangerous and often cause distress to more vulnerable sections of society such as elders or people living alone. The Council and Dublin City Fire Brigade remind everyone that bonfires are not legal.
