Closed due to coronavirus

We’re Closed… Just for the Moment

Business, Life, Visit

The Government has put in place a range of unprecedented restrictions on personal interactions to stem the spread of novel coronavirus or Covid-19. As a result:

All of The Liberties major visitor attractions and places of cultural interest are closed until 29th March and very likely beyond that date. This includes The Guinness Storehouse, whiskey distilleries, both St Patrick’s Cathedral and Christ Church Cathedral, IMMA, Kilmainham Goal, Dublinia and Marsh’s Library.

Most restaurants, cafes and public houses are now closed until 29th March.

Many smaller shops and retail outlets are closed. Supermarkets, pharmacies and essential businesses remain open.

If you’re staying in The Liberties, hotels and guesthouses are following Irish Department of Health and Health Services Executive (HSE) advice and putting in place procedures to ensure you stay safe and comfortable.

From The Liberties Dublin team: Unfortunately, life has gotten rather too interesting in recent weeks. The restrictions will lead to a lot of hardship for many businesses and organisations in The Liberties and their employees, and severely impact daily life. From The Liberties Dublin, our thoughts and best wishes to everyone affected by the pandemic. Let’s hope we get back to normal very soon. Stay safe!
