Liberties' restuarants celebrate prestigious food accolades

It was food plaudits galore yesterday as this year’s crop of Michelin stars were announced. The prestigious and much sought-after Michelin Awards are given for excellence in cuisine. And Dublin 8 held its own among a host of well-known restaurants and eateries.
Once again brandishing a coveted One Star and listing in the Michelin Guide are Bastible, at 111 SCR and Variety Jones, at 78 Thomas Street. Meanwhile Spitalfields on The Coombe celebrated the retention of its Michelin Bib Gourmand.
