Love The Liberties, Visit

The Guinness Storehouse and Guinness Open Gate Brewery have announced the details of what they have in store for this year’s St. Patrick’s Festival, which kicks off on Wednesday, 16th March 2022. The five-day festival at the Home of the Black Stuff will see St. James’s Gate come alive with more entertainment and experiences than ever before, marking the first time the locations have been able to open for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations since 2019.

THE GUINNESS STOREHOUSE, March 16th-20th inclusive

The Guinness Storehouse, seen by many as a bucket-list destination for St. Patrick’s Day, will host a five-day festival for St. Patrick’s Day which is fully inclusive for ticket holders from March 16th-20th.

Visitors will be treated to seven floors of surprise entertainment – including performances by Irish dance troupe, Prodijig, STOUTies and Irish folk group, The Dublin Rovers across each floor. Beer specialists will also be on hand throughout the Guinness Storehouse, offering guests a taste of select beers available to try on the day.

As they’ve missed our national holiday celebrations two years in a row, the Guinness Storehouse has introduced something very special for this occasion. Running for three evenings, Guinness Storehouse will host the ultimate Brewer’s Feast which will feature a four-course tasting menu, curated exclusively by Guinness Storehouse chefs with entertainment and performances from spoken-word artist, FeliSpeaks, Irish artist, Carrie Baxter and Sorcha Richardson.

The Arrol suite will also be in full celebration mode throughout the festival with an array of DJs entertaining visitors throughout the day including Dublin based Artist and DJ, Mo Kelly and festival regular, DJ CAT.

Each day of the festival will provide something new and exciting to enjoy – topped off with beautiful views of the city from the Gravity Bar on the seventh floor – where you can enjoy a pint and watch the rest of Dublin finally celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.

The Guinness Open Gate Brewery is the home of experimentation at Guinness, meaning their team of expert brewers are constantly getting creative with flavours, offering an ever-changing beer roster. Their March menu hosts the regular crowd-pleasers alongside some St Patrick’s specials including Opal IPA, Raspberry & Black Pepper Porter, Peach & Apricot Brett, Nitro Coffee Stout and a special Guinness Six Nations Brew, created especially for the tournament.   Open Gate Brewery’s food menu is packed full of delicious bites, specially curated to perfectly pair alongside their array of exciting brews. Snacks include Toonsbridge Halloumi fries while their Gahan’s Salt-Aged Beef Burger with Jalapeño relish, hot sauce mayo and crispy onions is the perfect accompaniment to watching the rugby.  Then for dessert, the loaded waffles with gelato, marshmallow & Guinness chocolate sauce is not to be missed!

There will be live music across March 17th -20th from 80s pop perfection DJs, Lime & Fancy, Club and house DJ Selky, electro, hip-hop & house duo, Tiny Choons, soul & funk DJs, Soul Jam, collaborations act, We 3 Kings and DJ and host of Ellemeno. Colin Devine adding a dash of magic to proceedings.

For those looking to capture the excitement of the Ireland vs Scotland Guinness Six Nations match on Saturday, the Guinness Open Gate Brewery will be opening up their vibrant beer garden, displaying the match on a super large screen for all to enjoy.

With so much to experience, why not join the fun and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at St. James’s Gate.
