For 5 days Culture Date With Dublin 8 has showcased the diversity and colour of the capital’s coolest postcode, with over 80 events run by over 40 programme partners all under 1 colourful banner.
From music, to thought-provoking exhibitions, engaging walking tours and talks, open access to the creme of the city’s historic sites, dance performances, a flea market, (breathes in) pompom-shaking majorettes, boat tours, flower arranging, cúpla focail with Áine, Late in D8,(breathes in again) cocktail-making classes, engaging art, films and more…. its been a memorable few days!
A huge thank you for the festival must go to Grace McEvoy who poured her enthusiasm and energy into this year’s programme – the biggest yet. Her able creative team, for producing a festival with style and panache. The many cultural organisations and individuals around the area who came on board to deliver such a varied and enticing five days. And the 1,000s of locals who took part in events throughout the week.
