Life, Visit

Festival O’Czytani is a vibrant cultural initiative celebrating Polish literature, language, and community in Dublin. Through a dynamic programme of readings, workshops, and creative gatherings, the festival brings together writers, artists, and audiences to explore contemporary and classic Polish voices in an open, inclusive setting.

At the heart of the festival is BIBLARY (CIE HALL, 1 Library Square, Inchicore) – a unique, independent literary space in Inchicore dedicated to books, storytelling, and cultural exchange.

The 2026 programme opens on 26 May (11:00–12:00) with an official launch event, marking the beginning of a city-wide celebration of literature.

Festival highlights include:

  • A Guided Cultural Walk in Dublin with Sinéad (6 June)
  • A Creative Writing Workshop with Agata Bizuk and Magdalena Wilk (Trinity College Dublin)
  • A Mobile Journalism Workshop led by the Midlands Polish Community
