The Irish Development Authority (IDA) is working on a strategic plan to build a healthcare innovation cluster near the site of the new National Children’s Hospital. The agency is hoping to attract international cutting-edge firms to locate close to the new state of-the-art Hospital, currently seeking planning permission, to take advantage of proximity to existing tech locations such as The Digital Hub. The €650m hospital will be located at the St James’s Hospital campus and is expected to open in 2019.
