When a Local Authority proposes works such as the provision of roads or other infrastructure it must publish its proposals and invite submission from the public as a Part 8.
Dublin City Council have submitted their proposals for Saint Audoen’s Park and are now welcoming submissions from the public on the plans. The intended enhancements to the park include increased permeability, accessibility and improved circulation throughout, with a new access point created onto High Street. The works will be taken out in a number of phases, with the first of those to open the park to High Street and integrate a more open space with the adjoining church grounds.
The proposals can be viewed here (detailed drawings are not yet available to view but should be in the coming days). A submission or observation in relation to the proposed development may be made in writing to the Executive Manager, Planning Department, Dublin City Council, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8, before 16.30 hrs on Thursday, 19th May 2016.
