A new Attractions Passport has been unveiled for Dublin 8. The initiative, by Culture Date With Dublin 8, is intended to create a fun and memorable way to discover some of the area’s best cultural attractions.

Designed to complement the new Dublin 8 Cultural Map, the passport, beautifully designed by illustrator John Rooney, allows you to collect distinctive and individual stamps for 8 attractions and places of interest in Dublin 8, including IMMA – Irish Museum of Modern Art, Marsh’s Library, Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, Christ Church Cathedral and the Phoenix Park Visitor Centre and the soon-to-open Biodiversity Centre.  Richmond Barracks and Dublinia complete the cultural spots initially participating.

You’ll find the Passport at all participating attractions and at Failte Ireland and Visit Dublin Centres. Simply ask for your stamp when you visit and build your collection to create a unique momento of your culture dates in Dublin 8!

Culture Date with Dublin 8 is a neighbourhood initiative, which aims to celebrate Dublin 8’s rich cultural, historical and architectural heritage while encouraging people who are living, working and visiting the area to explore what is on their doorstep. The initiative offers family-friendly events, activities and workshops during a weekend-long festival on 14th & 15th May and a host of free events that take place across the calendar year.
